Dear brothers and sisters in Hong Kong,

Let me begin this April report with the testimony of David in Ps. 23 -- "The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want..." Our Lord is indeed so faithful and true that we can trust him in everything, including our missionary works which often could be very testing.

First, the Lord has been blessing the Heywot Injerra Bible study during the past few months. While about 3 former students had dropped out, we saw around 8 coming in, including two who did participate briefly in the past and had to stop because of family pressure. There are more who have demonstrated a desire to study the Bible in their homes. Because of my current busy pre-parathion of the 'Abyssinia Camping Ministry' project, I have to postpone following them up to initiate Heywot Injerra program till later.

Our Abyssinia Camping project will be proposed to the forthcoming SIM Field Council here during the middle of May. Pray that God will see it through that Abyssina Camp will become the first Christian  camping ministry ever in the capital city of Addis Ababa When the Council has given us the green light, we will proceed on step by  step such as getting this Ministry registered with the Government's Ministry of Justice. And of course churches and friends will receive more detailed report so that you can contribute to this exciting ministry through prayer and also through giving as the Lord directs!

For indeed the harvests are whitened,
