Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

My mum and I went to have follow- up appointment with the oncologist in Prince Margaret Hospital today. We wanted to know the result of the PET scan last Friday and the possibility of our next steps.

There is early neoplastic lesion in her right lung and multiple metastatic lymph nodes in her neck and abdomen. Option of surgery is impossible with this result due to cancer cells are already metastasized. After discussion with the doctor, my mum is now waiting for chemotherapy. It will take total 6 courses with 12 injections altogether.

Our lives are vulnerable. Two disasters of Myanmar cyclone and Sichuan earthquake are devastated and overwhelming. However God’s love is unchangeable and God is our Master – Master of every circumstance. Therefore we're putting that truth to the test as we ‘love Him, obey Him, and commit ourselves firmly to Him, knowing this is the key to life.’ Deut 30:19  

The chemotherapy will start after 2 weeks. Please pray along for my mum

-         for extra strength, grace and good result for the chemotherapy

-         for less and less side effect she may have

-         for strong growing spiritual faith in such experience

Also pray for my brother and sister in law to think deeply about life and to have open heart for the gospel.
